Dr Ji Ma received his PhD in English Language and Linguistics from The University of Sheffield in February 2019. His research interest lies in the intellectual history of linguistics, particularly focusing on the standardization and codification of the English language in the Early Modern period. He is now serving as a guest editor of the British journal Language & History (SSCI), in collaboration with contributors from Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. At the same time, he is also cooperating with British and Australian scholars in conducting research and writing research papers.
