Teaching Assistant, University of Pennsylvania (09/2016 – 05/2017)
• Assisted the instructor of EDUC 528-Teaching Practicum, a core course in TESOL master program
• Graded assignments and assessed students’ performance
• Administered workshops, collected and update students’ teaching schedules, and supervised on group study

ESL Instructor, Nationalities Service Center (January – March 2017)
• Taught a class of seven adult students 10-week, 50-hour ESL course in central Philadelphia
• Took full responsibility of curriculum design, lesson planning and material development

Tutor, Moder Patshala (September – December 2016)
• Tutored K-12 students in after school homework help program on a variety of subjects in a community-based studying center in West Philadelphia
• Designed and facilitated a three-hour workshop to teach argumentation writing to 9 senior students

• Taught ESL course to four young students, responsible for curriculum design, lesson planning and material design

• REAP (Rural Education Action Project), May-June, 2016
Co-leaded a team of 5 and carried out research in Ruijin and Gansu through different approaches including exams and surveys; students from 12 local primary and secondary schools participated as research subjects and collected nearly 700 samples
