On March 11, the CLE Latin Club welcomed its first session. Due to the special situation this semester, the Latin Club meetings were held online via Zoom meeting for the time being. The first meeting was attended by 12 students, including 8 returning students. The meeting began with a mini-lecture given by the club coordinator, Ms.Yang Luo, followed by a Jeopardy in which students were asked to recap what they had learned last semester. After a brief review, Ms. Luo also outlined her plans for the spring semester: reading sessions, literature discussion forum, and guest speakers. The readings will focus on the Oxford Latin course and guide students to more linguistic components of Latin language.
