The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Team from the Center for Language Education (CLE) recently entered the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) contest. Highlighting a single lesson from their course, which focused on the "Peer Review" process, EAP Course Coordinator, Matthew Jellick, led a teaching demonstration, paying specific attention to the validity of the student voice in the writing-revision process, and how different perspectives oftentimes lead to valued insight.
The EAP team is proud of this achievement, but much like our course itself, we understand that both teaching and learning are a continuous developmental process, so in turn, we look forward to continued growth, working with each other and our students.
