Yang LUO


Yang Luo holds a Master’s degree in TESOL and a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies. She was awarded Summa cum Laude Golden Prize in the National Latin Exam for three consecutive years (2013-2015), third place in Le Grand Concurs/ National French Competition (2014), and the William Staughton Prize in Latin (2018) of George Washinton University. Yang used to be an assistant teacher of the Latin class at School Without Walls, a Blue Ribbon school in Washington D.C. She also taught various adult ESL classes and Chinese classes through University of Pennsylvania GSE cooperated teaching sites such as Northeast Academy at Philadelphia and Philadelphia Chinese Academy. Yang’s academic interests include language education, especially the ancient ones (Latin and Sanskrit) and classical literature across cultures.
